I am on Risperdal 1.5 x2 a day and 500 mgs Depakote x2 a day. I absolutely can feel no sex drive. I am single right now but hope not to be forever and it just feels strange not having one. Anybody have any suggestions?

Escitalopram killed my sex drive totally. I've found Wellbutrin to really help me.
And you need to let your pdoc know, so they can consider alternatives

When I was on Seroquel XR, I lost my sex drive 100%.

My pdoc took me off of it and it came back 100%. You have to tell your pdoc about this because there are ways to work around it. Nobody should let meds. dictate how they live their lives, only to stop mood swinging that to occurs too often. Seroquel XR made me lose my personality, creativity and sex drive.

Meds suck when they do this to people, so please talk to your pdoc about it so he can tweak your meds to make you feel human again.

I'm on 1050 mg/day of depakote and take 1/4 mg risperdal occaisonially. The only time I lost my sex drive was when I cycled into my winter depression. I still was having sex, just my gf and I were alone all day in my new house and I made every excuse I could think of not to have sex, which was completely opposite of my normal, hump anything thats a human female mentality.
But as soon as the days started getting longer and the sun was out more, I cycled back up into my spring cheer and was back on the horse in no time.

If you get depressed every winter, a SAD light would help. Here's a couple of websites. One of my friends has the Philips GoLite and she says it works really well for her.
