DONT HAVE COCAINE. That wouldnt help you through this!

I'm useless at controlling my episodes, so my advice is pretty basic, keep your routine, try and stay away from anything mania triggering, keep talking to us.
And if you're on meds, stay compliant.
Hope its just a touch of hypomania for you and that it works out well!

I agree with the rest, no blow, stay with meds, keep your routine. I hope myself someone will read this for the "all night beeper chat" so there can be help during manic stages, I myself feel the mania coming on after this long bout of depression I've been going through. I'm starting to sleep less n less. Just keep routine, easier said than done. but, just remind yourself "this too shall pass'.

I am also manic at this time. I am trying to keep myself occupied with music, the computer and talking to my understanding friends. I can't eat either and my head is full of ideas. I know how you feel. Hang in there, don't make any major decisions during this time. I know if I had money I would be blowing it!

You are starting to make the wrong moves by skipping your meds... time to talk to your pdoc. Yes, it feels good... until it doesn't.

Please take your meds, and keep the structure in your life. Structure has helped me, and that means getting my sleep at any cost. If you don't sleep, your mind will crumble. Even a normal person will start to hallucinate and go crazy without sleep, and you are doubly at risk with bipolar.

Getting high just adds to the mess. And remember the ups feel good, but you will crash, and no one wants to be depressed, right?

Stay away from the coke because it will just add to your mania.

I wish you would take your meds. as prescribed, but since you have already decided that you shouldn't take them, I really, really hope you do not get too high.

I know it feels awesome to be hypo, but if you ever get into full blown mania, that is a bad thing.

Astone131 I really hope you change your mind and take your meds. I know the high is great, but you can crash and that is no good. Plus a full blown manic phase can become dangerous. Just like the desire to do cocaine, not a good decision. Try to stay away from any triggers and focus on ways to chill. Best of luck to you.
