Went to see pdoc today he made alittle adjustments to my meds. But we have a place here called the " clubhouse" and it is where bipolar people can go to hang out with people, do crafts, play games, eat lunch ect.... but I need a referral to go there so I asked him for one and he sais I need to ask T because he didnt see how I could benefit from going there. How can I not benefit from being around people who understand me, gets me out of the house and doing soemthing productive with my time. I just dont see his point

That does not make any sense. Its like my T telling me I need permission to go to an AA meeting.

I agree with Popeye. That makes no sense at all. If the clubhouse is for people with BP and you are diagnosed with it then why wouldn't you benefit from it. To bad he didn't give you a better answer or explain himself better.
