My bipolar depression is back. I dont exactly know how to deal with it. One minute I am high the next minute I am low. This time Ive been dealing with the lows for about 3 weeks. This is the worst feeling to have especially when you feel that no one understands or even cares. Hospitalization seems possible but unwanted at this time.

That is my worst experience with my disorder but have not been depressed for a long time. I am usually manic or hyomanic.

I only go through severe depressions maybe 3 or 4 times a year, and one of them lasted a long time. It was the worst feeling in the world.

Then, one day I woke up and it had passed finally.

Depression and mixed states are the worst in my opinion to have to deal with with BP Disorder.

They are terrible but do lift. I got thro the last one, but it was touch and go about me going to hospital. A year ago. I usually have shorter episodes now, but they still occur. Having a T to talk to really helped, which in turn helped me with mt pdoc.
But I understand. We're here for u

I get real low in the winter. Last year was the worst. I couldnt even bring myself to get up to go hunting (my#1 passion in life) and lost interest in sex (something that never happens) and my gf in general.
My best advice is to talk to someone and hopefully they care enough to do their best to elevate your mood. Just keep in mind that with every morning comes a new day and do your best to power through it and make it better than the last

i know it can seem that no one around us cares but you know that others here at PC do care and understand. it is really hard for normies to get it. the key is to remember that the depression will pass, it always does, even though it seems to take forever. are you on an antidepressant? can the dose be increased? hang in there. hope it doesnt last too much longer. keep posting.
Thanks for this!

It feels awful and it sucks. It will brighten up for you.

Don't discount the hospital. I have been 6 or 7 times voluntarily for depressive episodes in the space of two years. It was a hard time for me. Still is sometimes.

I hope you feel better soon.

I've been going through a pretty bad state for a long time also, hope yours passes soon because it really does suck. I was contemplating admitting myself when I found this website and being able to talk to other people here has kept it at bay. Maybe I'll actually make it through.
Thanks for this!
