and now it's replaced with anxiety just like yesterday. WTH? Am I mixed or rapid cycling? It seems I cycle within hours these last few days.

Yeah, what's up with that? Just what IS the difference between mixed and cycling, for me, I'm mixed as I progress through any cycle....I think.....

The reason I ask about being mixed is that along with my cycling, I seem to be retaining all the energy of the hypomania, but it becomes a dysphoric energy. Instead of spreading hearts and flowers, I want to cry. Weird. I'll see how I feel tomorrow and maybe call the covering pdoc.

AHHHH....I totally understand how that feels. I'd like to know what your pdoc says.
peace

I am going between middle ground and anxiety today and I have the creeps still. It's weird. A friend in college once told me I was like a female Robin Williams because I would break into characters and voices at random. I took it as a compliment but reminded her that I was not nearly as hairy. Looking back, I am pretty sure I spent the first two years and my last year manic.

I hope I get happy again too, but today I feel burnt out and hanging out on the lower end of things.

My doc brought me down to "normal" today. She increased my Zyprexa and took me off Wellbutrin. I have found that I don't like normal.

I am so sorry to heart that. I hope you start to feel better soon. ((((HGS))))

I have been cycling so much the last couple of days that I am trying to give an average. I have moments where I am fine, moments when I am happy and moments where I want to give up. This week has been so messed up.

popeye, I haven't known normal for a few years now. I am not sure I would recognize it if it bit me. I guess that's the goal, though. Can the words normal and stable be used interchangeably?

It's easy for someone to tell you to "hang in there" but sooo hard to do when you feel awful from one minute to the next. I truly hope you do get some relief this weekend.
By the way I changed my user name from RTFsMOM cause I didn't want anyone to get mixed up on which one of us was posting at any given time. Sorry to all for the confusion.
Thanks for this!

My happiness is for rent, too, if anyone wants any. I have plenty to go around, until I cycle out of it again. :P
