so I am back on dorm. A dorm that used to be a nut house... and to be honest sometimes I cannot tell the difference. Last night somebody turned on the fire alarm. Than the electricity went out, but alarm was still on.
So i went to on the hallway to see what is going on. Some idiot hit me over the head with teaspoon (yes, it sounds funny, but who the hell he thinks he is? I am much older than him and I am in final year of my master's. WILL NOT BE HIT OVER MY HEAD WITH SPOON!). It will be a long year with people like this sharing the floor. anyways, couldn't sleep much obviously. when alarm went off, I managed to get some disturbed sleep with bad dreams... and stupid dreams. I took a deep deep dip over the night. I have first class today and meeting friend and I don't want to do either. I don't want to do anything... I mean, I will force myself, but I am feeling ****ing horrible right now. It is raining too outside and... I just don't know. Anything. Everything seems pointless today. and I hate the fact I let the world interfere with my mind so much. I shoulda laughed it off. I mean... it is funny in an idiotic way. But I just cain't.

Sounds awful, dorm living is a nightmare. I spent my final year of college stuck in a suite with six 19 year olds (I was 23).

yeah, kudos on not flipping out on the spoon idiot. was he flirting like a third-grader? Is dorm living free? i hope so...

I was just telling somebody about my horrible week at school and he started laughing. That's probably healthier than my reaction, but, yeah, I'm having a hard time laughing, too. I'm going for a Master's, too. Good luck with yours.

still not feeling better. trying to tough it up, i know it passes.
but some of the thoughts and feelings are... scary.

Venus, I would have gone postal on that guy who hit you over the head with a spoon. What the hell was his problem?
I really hope this passes for you soon. When I went to college, I commuted so I wouldn't have to deal with dorm life and all the different personalities. I want to wish you all the luck in the world.

I agree, I would have flipped out on the spoon guy! Keep going, you can make it through this tough time. I bet dorm living is hard, I don't know from personal experience, but I know that army living sucks (at the barracks) thanks to my husband telling me of his experiences. Good luck with your studies, you can do it!

yeah i know how the school life can be, wtf was this guy doing witha spoon?!
we have apartments instead of dorms here. but that means i have to live with three other chicks that i don't know. it's definetely a challenge. good luck with your studies, i hope you feel better soon
