Hey there all you night shift people. It's Saturday night! Let's make it a good one. Keep that positive support, venting, and questions comin'.

Remember people, we're all in this fight together. United, we recover. On our own, we struggle even more. Be a good samaritan and help out your fellow MI'ers.

Keep them bugs off the glass and them demons off your ***!

Once again, I'll be here all night and into the morning before i crash for a spell. Good luck and best wishes to all!

hmm what r ya in the mood for? i serve deli sandwiches, pepperoni rolls, pudding and soda to the miners. but im guessing you didnt mean food hahahah

Lemme see. Oh I caught a raccoon in the warehouse the other night. he was inside when i came in so i just stood still and watched. the little bugger climbed a 2.5 foot chair, got up on the desk, crawled across the edge of the trash can and hopped in. so i walked up to the can, bagged him up and took him back outside. he eventually got out, no harm done, but i hope it taught him a lesson. lol

Because you are manic, or why? Are you functioning OK with limited sleep?

yeah I was wondering since you were from PA if you had discovered pepperoni rolls yet. Apparently they were created for WV coal miners.

Is there somewhere that you can nap after working 21 hours. I once worked a 24 hour shift in the ICU but policy was I had to take a four hour nap before I could continue to work. I used to be an OT hound. I wonder if maybe I was hypomanic that gave me energy.

never ever heard of em til i moved down here to coal country in october.

there is an air conditioned room upstairs with a very nice cabelas cot, pillow and wool blanket. i go up there and see how long i can sleep. then i go shower in the foreman's bath house. we feed miner's who work over at least 2 hours over, so i have all the food i can eat and soda i can drink. its a great deal

Damn, I was up until 1:00 am, decompressing from my stressful day so I missed the night shift again.

I really have to work on getting onto PC when I am up that late so I will have people to keep me company when it is that late.

I hear the coal train a comin'
It's rollin' 'round the bend,
And I ain't seen the sunshine,
Since, I don't know when,
I'm stuck in Fed 2 Warehouse,
And time keeps draggin' on,
But that train keeps a-rollin',
On down to Morgantown

Your job sounds kinda fun. I wish I had a job. Boring is trying to find a way to spend my time every single day. Usually I am pretty good at it but not right now. I have run out of projects to take on. It's only 8:30 pm here now. I gotta find something to do for a few hours. Knitting maybe cause I am to anxious for other things.

Wow Im sorry to hear u dont have a job. If i didnt i'd either be in jail, the hospital or dead. I work 4 days on and 4 days off and barely make it out alive from those 4 days of no work.
When i work i stay here at the mine so i cant do anything else. got here at 6pm friday and havent left the property and wont til tuesday morning. basically to make more money and keep me out of the bar.

I'm past my jail years. I quit drinking 6 years ago, when I got re-dx. As long as I keep on my meds I am alright. But not having a job gets pretty boring at times. And other times it's pretty good. Wow I don't know if I would want to be at work for four days straight on the property. But that's great if you like it, and it keeps you out of trouble. What do you do on your off time there?

I gotta feeling that tonight's gonna be a good night
That tonight's gonna be a good night
That tonight's gonna be a good, good night

I know that we'll have a ball
If we get down and go out and just lose it all
I feel stressed out, I wanna let it go
Let's go way out spaced out and losing all control

I love music but can never remember the titles or words to most songs, just the tune. Guess it's part of the ADHD...
