I'm the kind of person who wants to know everything about everyone, but who is far too anxious to actually find out via a relationship. So, I engage in some very light internet stalking. I googled my new pdoc, and I can't believe what I found.

Apparently, she is very musically inclined. She is the choir director for her church. She writes and rearranges hymns for them. So far, so good. I can live with this knowledge. It might even explain why she wrote me a script for a week's worth of meds, and then included a month's worth in the pill count (which confused both me and the pharmacist); she is very stressed, as she basically is working two jobs. Now I can have more sympathy for her.

Then, I found a YouTube video of her singing! And she can't sing! It was one of the scariest music experiences I've ever had, haha.

Anyway, I've learned my lesson. Don't google your pdocs. You might find a recording of their voice that will haunt you forever.
Thanks for this!

Out of curiosity, I looked for my pdoc on Facebook... and found her. I, of course, didn't try to friend her or look any closer because it would be inappropriate as we have a professional relationship, not a friend relationship.

I googled mine and apparently he will never cheer for the Calgary Flames. Not even if they were the last Canadian team in the finals.

I googled mine and found a review for her grad program. I also think I found her on FB, profile pic is a bird (she loves birds) but I naturally didn't friend request her.

I googled a surgeon who did an operation on me, all after the fact. Biggest mistake I could have ever made. I felt compelled to go further. I won't explain, other to say it was very stupid.

Gus, I suppose you do have a point, as it was mildly entertaining. Mostly disturbing, though. : P

Blukitty, I don't think I'd be brave enough to google a surgeon. Being cut open is scary enough without knowing too much about the guy doing the cutting!
