I'm the kind of person who wants to know everything about everyone, but who is far too anxious to actually find out via a relationship. So, I engage in some very light internet stalking. I googled my new pdoc, and I can't believe what I found.
Apparently, she is very musically inclined. She is the choir director for her church. She writes and rearranges hymns for them. So far, so good. I can live with this knowledge. It might even explain why she wrote me a script for a week's worth of meds, and then included a month's worth in the pill count (which confused both me and the pharmacist); she is very stressed, as she basically is working two jobs. Now I can have more sympathy for her. Then, I found a YouTube video of her singing! And she can't sing! ![]() Anyway, I've learned my lesson. Don't google your pdocs. You might find a recording of their voice that will haunt you forever. ![]() |

Out of curiosity, I looked for my pdoc on Facebook... and found her. I, of course, didn't try to friend her or look any closer because it would be inappropriate as we have a professional relationship, not a friend relationship.

I googled mine and apparently he will never cheer for the Calgary Flames. Not even if they were the last Canadian team in the finals.

I googled mine and found a review for her grad program. I also think I found her on FB, profile pic is a bird (she loves birds) but I naturally didn't friend request her.

I googled a surgeon who did an operation on me, all after the fact. Biggest mistake I could have ever made. I felt compelled to go further. I won't explain, other to say it was very stupid.

Gus, I suppose you do have a point, as it was mildly entertaining. Mostly disturbing, though. : P
Blukitty, I don't think I'd be brave enough to google a surgeon. Being cut open is scary enough without knowing too much about the guy doing the cutting! |
