I have a question for those who have taken Abilify or currently are taking it.

Have you lost your appetite? Lost interest in your favorite foods? Like, the taste just doesn't appeal to you anymore.

I've found this happening with me but it started around when we raised my abilify.

I'd be interested to know.

yes, I have pretty much lost all my appetite, and I will go to get some of my favorite foods and they are just meh.

I don't have that problem. I did get akathisia from Abilify but take propranolol to take care of it. I'm trying to lose weight so I would welcome that side effect, for a while anyway.

I also got akathisia from it, I was given cogentin which made me sick to my stomach, maybe I should ask for this.

I never eat now that I'm on it I've lost almost 15 pounds in a month

I've gotten the akathisia too and still have it. Really bad, too, and I'm on proponolol or however you spell that. It isn't helping.

It's interesting to see others having the same side effect. Though, I wouldn't wish it on anyone. It's not fun, the loss of appetite and restless legs feeling.

I stopped sleeping when I went on it. Felt like I was on the parade field at attention, expecting the General to round the corner any minute. Pdoc took me off on day 4 but it way day 6 before I slept. Awful. Didn't feel anxious, though. Just! At! Attention!

The only thing I got from Abilify was diabetes
