One day of depressive symptoms does not a make a depressive episode. Many of the symptoms are natural responses to stress. Don't assume that you've lost stability because of what you are feeling today.

I agree with Merlin.

WE are still human beings and there is no rule that says WE can't have feelings, too. I often get symptoms of depression (quite frequently, actually) but I don't allow the symptoms to override my outlook and I accept it for what it is. A symptom. It is okay to feel bad because of a bad day, but its important to realize that a bad event doesn't need to make the whole day horrible. Your outlook determines how you see the world and react to it.
