I just got the results of my scan today. It seems a stone is caught in my gland. I have heard of kidney stones and gallstones, but never a lymph gland stone.

I have to go to see an ENT Specialist. In the meantime, I have to gargle with warm water and swallow it to help maybe release the stone.

I have never been so relieved in my entire life.

I am glad that it wasn't more serious. And yes, I have never heard of a lymph stone either.

Lymph gland stones sound much kinder & gentler than kidney or gall stones. And what great news after all the imagined possibilities!

So happy & relieved for you, SunAngel.

I'm so glad that it wasn't anything too nasty! Few things are scarier than worrying about a potential serious, or even fatal illness.

Glad they were able to figure it out and get you on the mend. Hope you are able to get in with the ENT asap, so you can start to feel better. Take care of yourself, SunAngel!

I'm so glad results are good! I had a swollen lymph node in my neck that stayed enlarged for months. It was painless and I was so fatigued all the time, we started thinking it was lymphoma. They removed the node (which was very easy) Out patient surgery I was home by noon. It was only painful for a day or so. Waiting for results was toture but it was nothing. It's so scary and stressful. Enjoy the relief! Will they need to remove it?
