Hi. Welcome. I would suggest a psych dr and meds. Meantime, have you tried doing self-soothing things for yourself- walks, reading, just being away from the stress?

Hi and welcome! My T recommended a book on dealing with spouses with bipolar, but I'll have to hunt it up to remember the title.....I'll try to get to it tomorrow if I can.

It is a tough situation. My husband is a medicated bipolar, thankfully, and I am, too.

I was an unmedicated bipolar I spouse and ultimately medicated but still with rages. It, in addition to other things, finally led to divorce, even though he tried hard to save the family. I recommend books - we never read any and did not even know there are books for spouses - as well as medication ASAP.

Best!
