I am sitting here watching Willie Wonka with my kids and all of a sudden I was hearing rock music in my left ear as if I had my ipod on. My ipod is on a table shut off with the earbuds wrapped up on it. Creepy.

My husband is upstairs taking a nap and I don't think he has anything on TV that I would hear that clearly. I turned my head to see where it was coming from. My computer is on silent. It kind of freaks me out because this stuff is becoming more common. (Right when I was writing that it is mild and doesn't happen that often in another post) This actually scared me when most other times I wonder if it even was a hallucination or not.

My pdoc took me off the higher dose of Wellbutrin yesterday because I was having a lot of anxiety and weird symptoms.

Try not to worry. I've heard music that doesn't exist for years. Give the reduction in medication some time to filter in and it may well disappear.

You're not going insane, I promise.

I don't get hallucinations from BP, but I had them before from Klonopin withdrawal and it freaked me out..... I was hearing 50's music (I don't even like 50's music) and my sisters voice was the DJ. I'm sorry you're dealing with this, I would call Pdoc tomorrow if it's still happening, maybe they can temporarily raise antipsychotic (or give you a antipsychotic?) until it goes away.

I am wondering if my husband did have the tv on upstairs and I was just hearing that... I don't know if it was real or not. I am doubting myself now...

i live with bipolar1 w/ psychtic featues...this sounds familiar. we kno its not bad untill its too much for u to handle. Deffinatly talk to you psychiatist about this...meds can help... takes time for them to kick in so u may want to start a regimine soon. i am not a dr and cannot diagnose you but your dr can and i think its worth inspecting!
