I've printed out the mood chart I've been recording on daily for 55 days. There was improvement after the Lamictal titration reached 200mgs.---I went from severe to moderate to low level depression to "normal" which lasted about 3 weeks. Then one day of hypomania and then a downward trend to moderate depression (for the last 2 days) which for me means two days in bed, extreme lethargy, over-sleeping, poor hygiene. I would really like to get to a point where I don't have these bed days! The Lamictal seemed like a miracle when it kicked in but now I am beginning to panic (a bit) because it seems like I am "all over the map" with the normality to brief hypo to mod depression. Maybe an increase in Lamictal is needed? I am pro-active in trying to manage my BP and my P-doc is good about that. He's agreed to my suggestions about med adjustments in the past. Just wanted to get your feedback. I don't take SSRI's because they've done nothing (except sedate me) in the past...

Ohlala, So sorry your having more ups & downs. More worries which we don't need.
As for meds you said your pdoc was good with your input. Give him/her a call, discuss the mood chart & your frustrations. Maybe a tweak, add or take away something?
Sending you good thoughts for many good days ahead!
Thanks for this!
