we all feel the urge to escape at times... but please, can you try something less risky and more healthy next time? You don't want to risk your life, sanity and health for few moments of escapism, do you?

I didn't see it as life threatening, sorry, it's just how i've always done it. Will put some thought into different methods. I didn't mean to scare or upset anyone...

maybe you can escape there but what if you don't come back? or come back with less of yourself than you went there with? there are other ways to escape, that maybe are not so dangerous and still take you "other places"..

I know how it is. Sometimes the need to escape outweighs the need to live. There are other ways to escape though without so many health risks.

Hi there, how you doing today? Are you at work? Send me an email if you want to chat - at least I'm in your time-zone, lol.
I know how you feel and I was in a very similar position, which also landed up in an OD. Looking back, I wish I had been in therapy. That's my advice to you

Good on you for showing up @ work - if nothing else, it will keep you distracted and your mind on other things. Hang in there.
Go find some stables in your area and spend some time doing some equine therapy. Before I drag you out to Paarl for a change of scenery and many horses! For a kind of detox for your soul
