So "Sound of Madness" by Shinedown just came on my ipod here at work.

"You think
That by cryin' to be
Lookin so sorry, That I'm gonna beleive
You been infected
By a social disease
Well then take your medicine"

Somehow this reminded me that I missed my last couple doses, so I went and slammed some Depakote and kept rockin out.

I love the power of music.

For all those head bangers out there 11/11/11 was the first ever National Metal Day! So keep on rockin and rolling one day at a time.

Let's make it another great night!

I'm here for 2 minutes then going to take my bubble bath.
I love music too, love to just drive my car and listen.
I'll have to look up that song, I probably heard it but didn't pay attention to the lyrics.
Take your medicine everyday!!!
and have a great weekend.

I woke up and the clock said 7:30 and I was thinking 7:30 in the morning or the evening? I didn't go to bed until 6:30 am. It was evening, I slept the entire day. Good sedatives I've got, I guess.

I am hungry and we are out of milk so I'm going out to the grocer and wander around and look for food. Son made chili last night but it is almost gone.

I'll be back in awhile.

hahah. the other def. is a disease prevalent among a specific social class or amoung those in a certain job. so black lung would be a social disease in coal miners.

but yea that's funny tho hahahah not really hahaha

Man I start out late and miss all kinds of things ... You started out this night with Heavy Metal and Social Disease ... Sounds like you might need to set an alarm for those scheduled meds ...
Thanks for this!

That's how i used to do it, back when i had a "normal" job. Now i work nights. Supposed to take em before bed. but when i work nights, bed is in the am. when im off, bed is in the pm. but all too often i just dont go to sleep, i mean actually laying down and going to bed, so when do i take em then? didnt take em the past couple days cause Thursday-Friday i worked 22 hour straight, then didnt bring my bag in with me this morning and passed out before i could remember em.

So took em a couple hours ago, but not with the risperdal cuz i know it will make me too droswy/ ****ed up to function and drive later here at work. These meds just dont fit my lifestyle. hahah

speaking of coalminers and communicable diseases......

In 2007 I had a sick cat that didn't respond well to treatment so they cultured her and she was positive for diphtheria. This was remarkable because diphtheria was previously unknown in felines. She was the first cat in the world to be diagnosed with it. So since it is such a serious disease the CDC got involved and 2 veterinarians and a physician from the CDC came to my farm and cultured all the cats, dogs, horse and my son and me. It turned out I had a second cat with a positive culture and the CDC was clueless as to how the bacteria had infected the cats.

Diphtheria is still prevalent in places like Russia where they cannot afford to provide vaccine but is virtually nonexistent in the USA. But I learned that from 2000 to that time in 2007 there had been seven reported cases of diphtheria among humans in the USA and ALL of those had been WV coalminers. What gives? Why here?

So manicminer if your tetanus shots are not up to date (longer than seven years ago) you should get a tetanus shot because what they don't tell you when you get the tetanus shot is that they are vaccinating you for diphtheria in the same injection.

Was mainly wondering how you went from Heavy Metal to Social Disease all in a couple of posts. Figured it must have been the lack of meds. HAHA
