Googled the song and listened to it on youtube. Good song. Think you are right the social disease he sings about might be BiPolar.
Thanks for this!

So since it is such a serious disease the CDC got involved and 2 veterinarians and a physician from the CDC came to my farm and cultured all the cats, dogs, horse and my son and me. It turned out I had a second cat with a positive culture and the CDC was clueless as to how the bacteria had infected the cats.

Diphtheria is still prevalent in places like Russia where they cannot afford to provide vaccine but is virtually nonexistent in the USA. But I learned that from 2000 to that time in 2007 there had been seven reported cases of diphtheria among humans in the USA and ALL of those had been WV coalminers. What gives? Why here?

So manicminer if your tetanus shots are not up to date (longer than seven years ago) you should get a tetanus shot because what they don't tell you when you get the tetanus shot is that they are vaccinating you for diphtheria in the same injection.
My best guess would be the nasty water in the mines. Another reason would be poverty. There are still people in WV that live with dirt floors in one room shacks with no electricity that never see a doctor there entire lives

There's a lot of good music out there that reaches out to mental illness or is about the singer's struggle with it and most people don't know it. A lot of it is in what is now "Classic Rock" 60's- early 80's.

Prime example: "Crazy Train"- Ozzy Osbourne. Its about his struggle with bp.

......Also driving in my car and listening to music de-stresses me.
I really only listen to the really hard stuff when I'm pissed off then I end up speeding. but its fun.

I've been listening over and over again while driving- "You were meant to be here" by Emerson Lake and Palmer- origanal 1972 version.

Anyway started watching Sat. Night Live was stupid at least at first so shut off. Then ate Taco Bell which was stupid. Now I'm googling.

I am so lost on this thread now. Metal, std's, rock, now hate, am I missing any? If I didn't know better I'd think you guys were bipolar.

Minor that's too much smoking!! I know... I am guilty as well. I have been surface thinking of quiting lately.

I think I was just sitting here and decided to do a 30 day bikram yoga challenge, then maybe 60, then 100. If my pills can't save me maybe bikram can. I have no idea...
Thanks for this!

Good idea!! Ok I got a new plan instead of yoga challenge I think I will do a 30 day raw food challenge. Maybe it will spark something with the smoking issue. I've thought about hypnosis, cause a patch isn't gonna work.

Anything may work. Never hurts to try.

I know gum doesn't do a whole lot for me. In the pER they had me on a 2400mg 24 hour patch. I would wake up in the night itchy and have to rip it off! haha the ones in the store are 2-24 mg so they wouldnt even touch me

Haha no they wouldn't. I tried the patch before, gave me horrible nightmares, shakes, nausea. And I still was smoking. I tried Zyban once but it triggered mania. The electronic cigarette looks interesting enough to try.
