This is a major problem for me. I have one friend at work who is only a work friend. I have my husband. Otherwise I have no friends. Even my family members ignore me. Such as we had a family reunion in the Spring. Lots of us have kids. All the great aunts got my cousins and their kids together and they all went on a day trip into the mountains. I only found out because a cousin posted all the pictures on Facebook about three weeks ago. They also always go skiing or gambling and don't invite me. (I don't have a gambling issue or anything.) I just feel unwelcome by everyone.

Recently my husband has lots of new friends. I have none. I tried to make some new friends, too. But it hasn't worked out. He is often spending a lot of time with his friends now, and I just feel left out and alone. He's really the only person I have to talk to.

I have always had this issue. My past friends used to go camping and not invite me. I'd have no idea where they were over a weekend, then they come home and say "we went camping, it was really fun." Other than my husband, I have not had a close friend in six years.

I'm also very funny and I can really make people laugh when given a chance, but that doesn't seem to help.
