My husband and I had been talking about moving in order to get him a better job and so I can get a job as a librarian (more than part time) or information specialist. He told me tonight that after the past two weeks he's decided we can't ever move. The reason is because he needs help with the kids if I'm in the hospital. If we're here his mom will help. I understand what he's saying and I agree it's the best decision but knowing we can't move because of me doesn't help the guilt over the situation or my depression at all.

Bipolar sucks.

Moving is also hard on everyone - including you. I flipped out the last time I had to move; I just can't handle that kind of change very well. I don't know that "can't ever move" is a rational response to having a tough time (the kids won't be small forever) but maybe it's the best policy for now...
