I'm having a really hard time with my job again. It seems like when I work too many hours, (over 40), I get depressed and tired, and my body aches. But then if I get a day off, I get even worse, I am just so exhausted. I'm so depressed, I'm so tired. I'm also fat, and, I would like to start yoga maybe?
Can overweight people do yoga? My meds aren't working, hate who I am today

Well I know that when I work a lot in one week I need a rest day, but I also include some good cardio and get a sweat on. So I would def start getting some exercise you can order some good dvd's on Amazon. The Biggest Loser ones would be a good place to start, or you could start run/walking you can run 15 seconds/walk 45 for 30 minutes or so. You can do that in the house if you want. I know you are busy with work, but it's only 30 min a day to exercise you can do it before work.
You will feel so much better and actually gain more energy if you do this, so best of luck, and get moving! You could do some simple yoga poses, but I think the more advanced ones will be hard if you have too much body fat I would imagine, no offense intended.
Thanks for this!

Overweight people can certainly do yoga! It doesn't matter how old or young or what physical shape you are in, yoga is for everyone. There are quite a few overweight people at my studio, I do bikram, the hot yoga. And seriously some of them can kick my butt. We have some people in their late 60's and they are doing so good. Not to mention the wonderful mental benefits.

If you want to give it a try, I say go for it! Nothing to loose, it's also very non competitive. My sister just started coming with me, she is overweight, but she's absolutely loving it.
