I changed my dose of Zyprexa

I was on 2.5 a day then my pdoc changed it to 5. Then my brain was so slowed down I went back to the 1 pill a night without asking. I feel some better- memory improving... Stuttering not as bad.

Glad your symptoms are are decreasing .. Make sure you call your Pdoc and let them know you decreased it and why ....

Most Pdoc realize WE know how we feeel on meds better than they can guess how we will react to them.

I did call last week about the symptoms but she never called back. So since the bottle says to take "1-2" I'm not technically disobeying.

Well today I had a mental breakdown/ paranoid and crying. So much for a good thing.

Hallucinated. Saw a car in front of me melting over and over.

Time to call the pdoc again? That really doesn't sound like everything is working as it ought!

I called. I tod them I'd been hallucinating and atuttering changed my dose of Zyprexa and id drinking. Ugh. I'm so in trouble. Pdoc calling me back.

How do I know I'm not schizzoaffective too? I seem to hallucinate a lot.

I know how that feels Moose. A few months ago my pdoc questioned if I was schizoaffective. I have hallucinations when I am not manic nor depressed sometimes. I don't want my dx changed. For now it's Bipolar 1 with psychosis NOS. And I guess that means, we don't really know.

How has your mood been? I hope you pdoc gets back to you quickly this time. Stopping antipsychotics can also cause rebound psychosis, making it even more confusing.

I just had a huge fight about our relationship. I was shaking I was so upset. Non-bf that is. I wa afraid of how I was feeling because I was THAT upset.

Then we had sweet, very good sex. Then we were all cuddly. Now my face hurts and I'm exhausted emotionally yet calm.

I cried so hard my eyelids are puffy. Where is everybody. I'm worn out.

My mother asked me if I could watch my own children! I've been gone all day. How could she have any idea.... Ugh! Leave me alone!!!!

I slept last night and six hours later I am still exhausted.

Sleeping is a good way to reset and refresh the mind. I find if I can sleep things look so much better the next day. Im sorry your having so many problems with the Zyprexa. I hated that stuff!

I think you should call your pdoc and let them know whats going on. They will be able to tell you what you need to do. Maybe they will be able to see you for an emergency appointment and reevaluate your meds.
