You guys! Lol.
As long as there is more than one room and I can turn my music up really LOUD!

(Hey, it's the one symptom where I don't get out of hand, after all! Don't worry, I'll keep a plethora of other symptoms well-represented while you're.... busy. )

In short the main difference is, BP1: fullblown manic episodes, BP2: hypomania. Apparently there are a few other differences, like mixed episodes, but I find that info highly misleading as I know for a fact that people from both sides of the fence suffer from them...
Thanks for this!

Yeah, we'll have team games for BP I's vs BP II's: red rover, dodgeball, 3-legged race, etc. But the BP I's would probably win if they're all manic and the BP II's are all depressed, so that wouldn't be a fair contest, would it?

Wait, we could start by playing "diagnostician" first, where each person describes their symptoms and then we can decide which team they're playing on, and what additional dx's should be added to their nametag.

Then we could have a "pressured speech" contest for everyone who's hypo/manic: whomever can fit the most words into one minute wins!

Next, we can have a med swap (but a responsible one?) where we all bring the leftover meds that we tried and switched off of, and anyone who's got a current rx for it can take that supply. I'd be happy to save someone else $100 or so on some pills that I'm not going to be using (and you're not supposed to flush them down the toilet, it pollutes waterways.)

Also, I think one of those chocolate fountains will be in order. I would also like one in caramel and another in peanut butter. In addition to tasting great, they will be a fun complement to the orgy.

Thanks for this!

Haha a good chuckle, thanks this sounds like a fun party to me. A bunch of loons running about would be entertaining.

We will need a lot of sturdy tables for everyone to dance on LOL Trippin.

Shouldn't that be in the DSM for a bp symptom?? I can just picture my pdoc asking me if there's been any ...(pause)... table top dancing... then writing little notes in her book. haha. Then I could say, yes, but it was completely appropriate because I was at a bp christmas party.

How about a contest to see who had the longest hospitalization? Winner gets a free trip to the nearest psych unit for their post-Christmas depression!

Does dancing around on countertops count? (Yeah, you know, in all that room from the cabinets to the edge?!... ) You guys take the tables, I'll take the countertops. And shout, "OMG, they're playing my college record collection!!!". And simultaneously clean the cabinets, because... hey, why not? Dance, shout, sing and clean. Don't want to get bored, after all...

(BUGGS! So good to see you!!! )
