Yep only got 4 hours of sleep last nite .. the last few days I have just felt like doom and gloom is on there way . Im taking my meds and trying to remind myself that these are just my emotions taking a little spin on the rollercoaster of rapid cycling ...

Just felt like sharing in case others are feeling the same way .. It will pass~ it will pass~ it will pass ~

Once it warms up a little im forcing myself to go take my 3 mile walk it really helps with my fibro pain and its sunny out so that should recharge me? I hope at least . It certainly wont hurt

Happy Sunday everyone

I'm on the can't sleep roller coaster, too. Was up all night, despite enough meds to put a horse to sleep. This too shall pass... the sooner the better!

I'm joining you with the sleep or lack of. Sorry you didn't get enough sleep. This last week I haven't been sleeping well at all. Can't fall asleep till around 3 am or so up at 7 am. And while I'm sleeping I'm just tossing and turning and waking up. Just keep an eye on it. Hopefully it will return to normal.

Despite the lack of sleep, I'm not tired, I feel fine. Sooo making me a bit nervous.

I hope you can return to your walks soon. That might help with sleep too.

I was doing the same thing but I did get to get out and walk for the last 2 days and that helped a bunch. I needed that.

So sorry sleep has been evasive
I must confess tho, I can't exactly empathize, but I can see it's distressing... Am I the ONLY 1 here who actually lives on 4hrs sleep? seriously now, on meds, off meds,pre-dx since age 14... I'm such a freak hey sorry to go on about myself, you guys just really got me thinking...

No Trippin, actually I am quite similar, and since about age 14 too. I try to force myself to get at least five or so if I can. My mania is soooo affected by my sleep. Once I start doing 4 hours for a while, then it will be 3, 2, 1, and then 0 for days on end. I don't feel tired with 4 hours sleep unless I have been stressed, which I have been a lot lately.

Oops, it looks like I climbed the rollercoaster hill again-4 hours last night with .5 mg of klonopin. I am hoping it is just anxiousness for today's appointments.

I hope you got the sleep that I was supposed to get, Christina!

I seem to be in that pattern at the moment too. 3-4 hours of broken sleep for 3 days is not fun
Managed 6 hours last night, can function lots easier on that much!

I feel sleepy just reading this lol!

I've been getting between 2 and 4 hours of sleep the last 4 nights. Normally on a good night I get 6. I don't feel tired. But I've noticed when I don't sleep my blood pressure goes up too high. I talked to my pdoc about it and he suggested I try Ambien..well that didn't work so I guess I'll just live with it. The only time I really get much sleep is when I'm depressed..then I don't want to get up and can sleep 12 hours or more.
