I'm lost, angry, feel condemned, want to cry but I can't, I don't enjoy my music or things that used to mean something to me, what has happened? Last fall Zoloft stopped working and I could tell. Now I'm on Prozac, and I'm either not on enough, or it's not working for me. I tell my doctor but he acts like there's not much left to try. I hate this life.

Take it one step at a time is all the advice I can give you. Take deep breaths and talk to your therapist or pdoc about these feelings. Now I'm no doctor but it sounds like your in a low place and I don't want you to do anything stupid. So please talk to someone even its me, I'm here to help

I won't do anything dumb, but I've never experience this much anger before.

I feel alone. I feel demon oppressed. All he does is lie, lie, lie and I am worn out and believe it, believe it, believe it because it's too hard to fight off the strongholds.

My best time during the day is bedtime after I take my meds, because there's something about the chemistry that calms me down.

(I wouldn't worry about translating Aslan's posts. I can't make sense of them either. )

Hang in there and talk to your pdoc. Do you have a T or other person you can talk to in the meantime? It sounds like you've hit a bad low and need to have either a new med or a dose adjustment. We all go through this at some time. Keep posting, and we'll try to keep helping you until your pdoc or T can get you back to normal.

It sounds like you're not on the right meds. Finding the right combo can be very hard and discouraging.

It took a few trys and a few months to find my right mix. It hasn't been easy and at times I feel like throwing up my hands and chosing a life unmedicated. But then I think of how safe my medication has made me feel. My rapid cycling has ceased, but so have my feelings and emotions. I'm not sure what is worse, feeling everything so intensely or not feeling anything at all.

Try to stay positive, talk to your doctor and therapist (if you have one), tell them how you are feeling.

Be patient. Life is worth fighting for.

I hope this misery doesn't last much longer for you. Hang in there.

If you don't think your doc is listening to you, it might be a good idea to look for a different one.

Hang in there hartbroken. (((hartbroken))) I was just dx with bipolar with anxiety disorder in early Dec. My treatment team during inpatient believes that I have been mis-diagnosed for years. My PCP's (which there were many because I never liked any of them) always just dx me with depression. I understand how feel. They have added and taken away meds. I have gone through so many different emotions, had so many endless thoughts, had to teach others about my Mental Illness, and also some other health problems. At one point my treatment ordered me to stop taking all my medications because of an allergic reaction vs questionable Lupus. For about a week I was OK, and was able to rely only on coping skills. Soon after I quickly had a downward spiral. It was aggressive, with mood swings, and having a lot of crying spells. The one thing that helped me through was widening my support network. I joined some support groups; including this one, I talked to some friends about what was going on; including calling and hanging out with friends that I was isolating my self from, and spoke out in my outpatient groups.

You are making a very positive response for the fact that you have posted on here, followed up with replies, and responded back. We are your support system. And I am sure you will continue to grow, change, and learn.
