I've never been on it before. I'm supposed to take 25mg tonight at bedtime then go up to 50mg a day, and 100mg if needed. Will my hallucinations stop immediately or will it take a while?

Will it help my anxiety and calm me down?

Will I want to sleep immediately? If so, how long will it take to put me to sleep?

Any bad/weird side effects I should know of?
Thanks, all.

The first dose i took literally knocked me on my *** and i slept for 16 hours ...

I also had not been sleeping for weeks prior to taking it so my body was run down.. i noticed a big change in my moods and psychotic issues about day 5 or so ,, it really slowed me down mentally so i was finally able to relax some.

Good luck and hope you get a great nites sleep

Thanks. I haven't had a good nights sleep in about 2 weeks, so I'm excited to get some relief. It's 7:30pm here so I think I'll take it soon.

I'm hopeful I can sleep good tonight.

Some sleeping pills give me headaches.
Is it like a headache kind of tired? Or just knocks you out, like sedates you?

Everybody's body is different. In the start, for me, it knocked me out within the hour. It wasn't a headache tired for me; I just felt groggy. The first couple of days, I slept in and let my body adjust to the meds. Eventually, I was taking it at night and it didn't make me tired at all (thought it didn't prevent me from falling asleep). However, without fail, it was a pain in the butt to get up. It takes a lot to overcome that morning grogginess. Once you get up and moving for a while, however, it's not that bad. My only other side effects were a bit of dry mouth, occasionally spacing when I was thinking (like a bit of temporary memory loss) and I craved vegetables (weird, I know, but I ate healthier)!

It didn't help my anxiety, but it did help stabilize me a bit. My hypomania was productive and I wasn't quite as depressed.

Thank you.

My pdoc said it's calming so I have my hopes up.
I'm tired of feeling like I'm at the end of myself.

I just took my first dose, so I'm assuming I'll be knocked out pretty soon lol.

Good luck!!!

I hope you sleep well. My first does knocked me down pretty good. I did get a terrible headache or headaches from seroquel. Not to say you will and it wasn't until I woke.
Thanks for this!

It knocked me out, hardcore. I don't even remember what happened after I got drowsy. I guess I passed out.

I feel much better today. It's a big improvement from yesterday!

Awesome! It made my mind slow down and I felt like someone threw a blanket over my senses the first feel days. Hope you adjust well!

I do find that when I take it I get the munchies! At one point I was taking food to bed with me because I'd be so drowsy yet so hungry! I had fallen asleep with the oven on a few times thinking I'd cook something.

It didn't cause weight gain though, if anything it probably stopped the weight loss from another drug I'm on that makes me not hungry.
