A question for those in the UK: Can my GP refer me to a new Pdoc??

I'm going to see my GP in the morning and was wondering if she would be able to refer me to a new Pdoc as the one I have is no good, he doesn't listen and I can't understand him half the time!! There is no point in me seeing him as I can't talk to him!
