That might be why you aren't really identifying with manic symptoms. Many people have grand dreams and plans that amount to a hill of beans because it's hard to be realistic when it's not all that exciting.

I would recommend getting a second opinion, actually. Once a doc's mind is made up, they don't often like to change it.

Thank you. We'll see on Tuesday...my doc is a really good doc and very open-minded, never had a problem with him. I'm sure if I asked to get rediagnosed he would at least give it some thought...but you're right, I don't think a one-time manic episode can really tell, but what I think may happen is that my mind has been so spun that it's med-induced bipolar. I could be way off, but my grandmother is bipolar so I'm kind of set up for bipolar.
