Bipolar life has it's ups and downs

Currently experiencing slight relapse into depressive episode but overall stability for almost a year!

Why end it? Friendship is not a marriage that needs to be "ended", unless it is an unhealthy one... why not just flow with it, and see what happens? Maybe you both need more space for yourself, but will find way back to each other.

Declaring end of friendship will sever that forever.

You seem to be having hard time with yourself right now. The important things is not to wreck your life you have because you feel down. If they are your best friend they will understand you have hard time.... and no offense it sounds you are testing him... you hope he will fight? WHat if he is just hurt and doesn't fight?
