my sister just called me tonight. she and my nephew were at Fred's getting his refills and the pharmacist told them that SEROQUEL IS GENERIC NOW!
OMG. I cried. I've been paying $76 a refill (through Medicare Part D) for that stuff last year. It's saved me and my nephew's life, but I couldn't take the dose I needed because of the cost. I've been waiting for this day for four years, since I first got on it. I've tried everything and this was all that was left that didn't make me sick, or have awful side effects, and actually helps the mania and other bipolar stuff. Thank you whoever made this miracle possible. I hope others who are on it or have thought about trying it will get the help from it that I got, and not have to worry about the cost. Please excuse me, but...Astra Zeneca....UP YOURS!!! ![]() ![]() ![]() |

That is fantastic news! We pay $60 for my four year old's Prevacid so not having to pay out another $60 for the Seroquel will be fantastic.
