My body's made of lead!!! lastnight I FORCED myself to fall asleep before 2am out of sheer boredom, so I know I can't be tired. But it's 16:16pm and I STILL CAN'T MOVE, really I can't, my body is über heavy, just turning around feels like too much! Had a good day yesterday, but not in a hypo way, so WHY CAN'T I GET UP OR STAY AWAKE LONGER THAN 20min?
.
This sucks!

Body catching up to you maybe. You and I have similar regular sleep requirements which aren't quite normal. I notice every few months or so I will have a day or two where I am just dead tires and can't move. I don't know but I think it's just my body saying okay we really need a break right now.

Sorry Trippin, I hate being tired too and having to sleep more, not like!

I think you're right Anika, it's just that my body hasn't 'cut-out' in months, so either I forgot how this feels or maybe it's worse, idk. What I do know is, I DON'T LIKE IT! I have done absolutely nothing today except sleep and make myself a sandwich, didn't even have the energy to light a cigarette! Had to make myself, coz I knew smoking would wake me a bit
thanks for your reply, I tend to overlook the obvious when I'm grumpy.

Sometimes I sleep like that when my body is sick, though I may not even have identifiable symptoms at the time. I'm sleep more right now because I have the flu, even called in sick for a few days of work and I hate having to do that. I'll probably end up napping again before I go to work, because I am still tired.

Hey M, I did concider the flu, but the fatigue associated with flu always presents itself with unexplainable sore muscles... I'm not in any pain, just REALLY heavy and exhausted...

I don't want to scare you, Trippin, but could this be the beginning of a depression? Do you have any cognitive/emotional symptoms? I sometimes feel that my body is leaden and become hypersomnic when I'm depressed.

I really hope that I'm wrong and that you're just really tired.

You might just be tired, an effect of the good time you had yesterday.

I don't know if anyone else here is seeing a pattern in this group. There are a lot of post from people discribing mixed episodes or episodes symular to mixed episodes. Could we be seeing a pattern amongst individuals who have no personal contact but share the same traits.

In any case back on subject, I hope your feeling better by tomorrow Trippin. Until then I think I'll get some sleep too.

Secretum, I have zero symptoms either way, just leaden and being a bit grumpy coz of it.
.
Smokey, I really doubt yesterday has anything to do with it, but at the same time, I hope I'm right.
.
Going to try and sleep this off and see what tomorrow holds.

WARNING TMI:

I have that every month right before my period. Also when I'm dehydrated I could sleep forever. I keep a bottle of pedialyte in the refrigerator just in case. Sorry guys.

Awww man, I wrote it all out and deleted it by mistake. I had to go write a little letter but wanted to come back here.

So glad you are recharged and ready to go, I hope that's all it was. Do you think it's weird that you are in your morning and I am in the night? I think it's weird, after I think about it too much. . I have to go to bed 3 am but I'll talk to you when I am up.

Don't let anything ruin your day!!!! You know you are are wonderful! <3

Feeling good, was irritable this AM, but like I explaind 2 u, it was purely situati0nal. It's after 10pm now, not sure if my brother can stay awake to watch more series with me, his brain is still tired from all the math and physics he did today... Thanks for checking in with me, appreciate it
