I am SO sick of this sh,t! My brother got robbed with a knife INFR0NT of 5 policemen AGAIN these guys took his backpack and cellphone, he fought them back and managed to get his bag back, but UGH, he called for help, no response, when the guys ran away, the policemen question HIM instead of chasing after the guys This happens WAY too often in an already dodgy neighbourhood, and nobody does anything about these cops, not even when you go to the media. I'M SICK OF THIS BS I'm just glad he wasn't stabbed. Thank God for small mercies.

NVM my rant. I think I just got angry at the cops cos I got the bejeeziz scared out of me... My eldest brother was butchered to death in '09. There were no cops to save him, I get that. But my baby brother could've died tonight while policemen stood nearby... The world is not a pretty place. Unicorns definitly do not sh,t rainbows
.
I have reason to think my brother did have contact with that knife, but I know that unless he needs a dr, he'd never tell me or mom. 3am I can't sleep not knowing if he was hurt...

I'm so sorry, Trippin. I hope your brother is okay. Why are the policemen so lacking in doing their jobs? Also, I'm sorry for the loss of your older brother. Many, many hugs-you have a lot of unfair situations to deal with.

Thanks guys, appreciate it and No IZ, skittles is innaccurate also. Idk why they don't do their jobs, but this isn't an isolated incident.

I'm really sorry Trippin. How awful and scary, not a needed repeat incident ever.

I don't understand policemen much of the time, but it sounds like there is a bigger problem going on there. I'm really glad your brother is safe. Wouldn't it be a nice feeling to just feel safe being outside. Ugh this kind of thing is horrible. This is why I resort to my utopian ways of thinking, because I like to go outside and pretend I am safe and feel safe.. Is it the truth .. Well no.

I wish your and your family could be in a not so dodgy neighborhood, or that they didn't exsist at all. I know that isn't how it is. Just not fair tho.

Thanks Anika. For the most part, despite it being dodgy, people hardly get hurt, besides weekend drunks, looking for a fight. Yes we don't roam the streets at night, but it's not like we're afraid to go outside during the day (except festive season, then getting robbed is quite common, it's like they're also looking for their end of yr bonus) Thing is I wasn't even worried cos it was daylight and he was with a friend, they were a few metres away from the shopping centre, among people including security staff and those policemen around! It just pist me off! I wish I could pretend things weren't so...

Well that's good that it's safe most of the time. I think my homeless years might have had a lingering effect on my feeling of safety. We lost a young girl in my area on Halloween. They found the man responsible, he is only 26 and is in the next very small village over, he was responsible for her death and and sexual attack in the neighboring city plus a home envasion and brutal assult. It shocked our sleepy laid back towns I'm afraid. Stuff like that is what makes me feel unsafe. It took me a few months before I felt safe on my patio in the evening.

I'm glad you can feel relatively safe, I wish I was better at that. I mean stuff happens everywhere and it can't always be avoided, being paranoid sure doesn't help. I wish the police were on top of this, isn't this why people have police and security staff in the first place. Sorry now I'm getting Ranty. Hope tomorrow will be a better day. Xox

Ugh no. I'm so stupid sometimes. I'm sure you need a recap of how awful the world is considering what has already happened. Sorry Trippin, I just wasn't thinking there.

Did you not sleep at all? It's 11 pm here right now.

Don't worry, your post wasn't as upsetting as you would imagine it wasn't stupid at all. I think I managed about 2hrs...

Ouch, well that is approximately half your required sleep . Hopefully you can sneak a nap in their somewhere if need be.

I told myself I would get to bed early tonight and try to sleep. Sleep has been elusive lately. So try I must, I hate sleeping tho, I got so much other stuff to be doing. Have a good morning and afternoon Trippin, I'm sure I'll see you around later today. your evening maybe. Try to fit in a little fun today!
