Hi all, I heard from a friend that concerta is working well for anxiety in small doses.. I also read that it works for depression in ppl with bipolar.
Have any of you tried it? and how did it work for you? Take care, mamabear |

2 of my daughters use it for attention deficit. It works fairly well for that, but it didn't do much for their anxiety. The doc wanted them on ssris for that, but I wasn't convinced that would help.
I tried Concerta for attention difficulties, but it immediately exacerbated my agitation. Try it for a limited time (under your doctor's supervision) and see what it does for you.

I took Concerta for awhile until I started a new drug that had bad interactions with it. I took it because I was always tired and just sat, staring all day. I looked up the indications for it in my PDR. For FDA labeled indications: ADHD, narcolepsy; for non-FDA labeled indications: fatigue (that's me), incoordination, impaired cognition, shivering, TBI. It does not include anxiety or depression as indications for use.
