Hi all. I am new to this forum. I was diagnosed with BP2
about three months ago and have been in denial about it ever since, that is until
today. After much researcher I have finely come to teams with it. It is really
scary, but at the same time it is a relief to know that everything I have gone
through is not necessarily my fault, but there are extenuating circumstances.
It is also a relief to know that there are people out there like me that can understand what I go through. My hope is to meet new friends, lend support and be supported.
Hugs from:

Hi, Nena25 - welcome! I am new to the forum as well, even though I was diagnosed BP about 5 years ago. I have found it to be very helpful and people are definitely understanding and can relate. I think researching BP is a great start. I still read books and do research on it. In a way I'm fascinated by the condition/disorder, or whatever you want to call it, and reading about it allows me to understand myself more and more.

Welcome, Nena! I was diagnosed in late February myself, so I can relate to the struggles of being new at all this. I'm far enough along now that I can remember that I was bipolar long before I got the diagnosis; the only thing that's changed is now I know about it. There are a lot of us here on the forums, so feel free to look around and learn........who knows, it could save your life one day!
