Hello Friends,
I am still completly manic from traveling for 2 weeks, insomnia, stress etc. My pdoc has me on 5 mg valium every 4 hours which helps some. I just really have two big problems. 1. I quit smoking cigarettes and I DO NOT want to relapse 2. I am leaving the country for Europe in 3 weeks!! Another time change This has been one of those manic episodes where I start trouble with strangers, get into peoples faces, basically act like a crazy person that is not so fun to be around. I'm not a happy manic just really freaking irritated. Thanks for letting me vent, and I totally understand in advance if this post makes no sense ![]() TnT

Your post makes perfect sense. I'm just coming out of a manic phase myself and can easily imagine how you feel. The thing I'm concerned about is traveling so much, which as I'm sure you know is one of the worst things a BPer can do. All those different time zones, jet lag, being out of your normal routine, dealing with the BS at the airport......none of it is good for us.
Since I'm unfamiliar with your situation, forgive me---but why do you travel so much? Is it for work or pleasure? and is it possible for you to cut down on the number of trips? It just seems to me that this is harming you a great deal and you should consider a different (less stressful) lifestyle if you want to stop the crazy, ya know?

This next trip will be the last of my traveling for quite a long time. I'm married to an European, so we have to leave the US periodically to visit family. It sucks because I LOVE traveling - mania aside. I'm a military brat who grew up moving every 2 or 3 years so it's kind of in my genetics. Thanks for your advice, and I agree it is wise.
Peace, TnT
