Can anyone tell me a medication that has helped them with bipolar depression? I have been on cymbalta and lamictal for about 4 years and need to see my doc because I have really been struggling with depression lately. I have tried provigil and ambilify with no results. Does anyone have experience with another drug that helped them?

Lithium helped lift mine, I used it for a year, off of it now. If u quit cymbalta, do it super slowly, worst withdrawals ever from that stuff.

I'm on a small dose of Celexa and a very healthy dose of Lamictal, which is keeping me at a good steady level right now. I did go through a depressive episode in December, but this time of year is hard on me anyway, and most of it was situational so when the crises were over, so was the depression.
