Bipolar 1 vs. Bipolar 2, Bipolar

Even though are differences between bipolar 1 & 2, often we get lumped together. Does this bother anyone?

When I tried to explain that I was bipolar 2 and not bipolar 1, one nurse said, "What's bipolar 2?".

It bothers me so much, that when I'm asked if I have a medical condition of any kind, I just say no.
