A couple of minutes ago I won a raffle for the first time in my life. I always lose so usually I do not even enter a ticket. It is a women's biking jersey which is quite timely because I will start commuting by bike next week.
My luck with meds has varied widely: I had horrible akathisia on Seroquel which is an unusual reaction, total unorgasmia on Risperdal and high doses of Geodon which is also an unusual reaction, absolutely no help from Lamictal which helps most people, no help with moods from Depakote and from Seroquel - these are the negatives. At the same time, I get total relief from depression using a very small dose of Prozac and Prozac was the first AD to try, so that was good luck. I have no mania nor psychosis on Lithium/Geodon - not at all, which is a pretty good result. I am able to sleep well on very low doses of Elavil and cannabis, which is lucky, too. What's your relationship with luck? |

I imagine I have often been lucky but don't notice it so much... but when it happens like you just did then it's kinda re-assuring when things link together like that...like it's meant to be yep ![]() |

I think we create luck through perseverance. You wouldn't be where you are at if it wasn't for your dedication to be stable, imo.
I have terrible luck because Im afraid of applying myself. t.t |
