And thus I can't keep my concentration with my novels and ideas and ultimately, what I'm doing right now.

Do people with bipolar feel like this every time? Sometimes I think too fast that my logic cannot follow that emotion and thoughts.

Like for example, I think about other novel and internet websites and fun things SIMULTANEOUSLY when I do some work. It's so hard to keep away from that distraction.

I also think about my future too much rather than my past. Sometimes it seems like I'm fantasizing too much.

I think its all possible.

My brain is always in overdrive thousands of thoughts at one time.

I remember when I first told my Tdoc this ... He told me its "very common."

I do meditation daily that seems to help while im meditating LOL

Some days are better than others sometimes I can slow things down others times not so much so.

I wish I had a magic cure ~

Hi twofaces, I have that a lot. Also I have add dx in addition to the bipolar dx, but figure I'll give you what feedback I can. I think it's common during mania and depression to have racing and unorganized thoughts, trouble focusing, daydreaming. I have it pretty much all the time, my medicine really helps. I don't know if other bp'ers have it all the time or just during mania/depression.

I (was? am?) a writer too. But I'm losing my ability for some reason, to both read and write. But, I also have the racing thoughts problem. I have the whole book written in my head but it's blowing around like pages in a wind storm, and I can't get it organized. So I don't. I'm frustrated and sad.

I absolutely think the racing thoughts/concentration is all BP.
