I actually just came in from writing in my backyard I find it a good catharsis. Do you do any other forms of creative writing?

I keep a journal when I need to sort my head out, which is all the time lately. I keep one in my bag and one by my bed and just write when i feel the urge. But I get all down on myself so ive been writing peoms and songs instead. Songs are great cos you can write down all your feelings then sing them out until they are gone. Today I was really down in the dumps and then made my own wee song which cheered me up heaps

What are your poems like?

find it a great source of release- even though a lot of people that see it get freaked out and just forget i exist (but people do that anyway!). so...

I keep a few journals.

1 on my computer
1 in my emails
1 mood diary
1 journal

I don't write in them all the time... bar the mood diary as that one goes to my Psychiatrist.

I think its a good thing as you will be able to see where you were and how far you have came. I have kept all my journals since I was a teenager. I have been told it may not be helpful to look back on them but I still have them anyways

My old counsellor told me to write in a journal that way I can not go back and change any of the words etc. It is helpful in that way!
