Shattered Sanity:

I really hope she'll be okay. I have two dogs who I adore and I'd be so devastated if anything happened to them, so I can imagine how you're feeling. I wish there was something I could do to help.

*hugs*

I'm so sorry your fur-baby is having so much trouble. Our pets aren't "like" family, they ARE family, and when they hurt, we hurt.

Prayers for you and your puppy today.

okay... so i'd thought i'd write to tell you where we are with the puppydog:

vet rang us today, and told us that she's not doing too well. she's fine on anasetic, but as soon as she's taken off she has another seizure and they tell us she may not make it... but they are doing the best they can

so that's what's happening

thanks hamster (for bringing this to the top of my subscribed threads!). was about to post an update, and now i don't have to look through all the other threads first to find it.

lol

anyway the vet called us this evening to tell us that they can't stop the puppy from seizuring. as soon as they take her off the anasetic, she starts again.

she says that if she can't get the puppy to stop, then under general rule she's going to have to put it to sleep.

and that's the latest

I have been through putting hamsters to sleep. This was awful, terrible, heart wrenching. I still have vivid memories. I can only imagine what it would be like with a pup. I am really, really sorry.
