And I'm a little bit scared. The last two quarters of school had been hard. I was diagnosed my last quarter and had figured some things out, but I still failed two of my classes. I have since changed my major from web design to graphic design (I made the change to web I believe in a manic decision).

I am just worried about failure because this is a huge trigger for me for my depression, and subsequent manic episodes that follow. I don't know why I'm so anxious, my meds are working, I have a wonderful support system, but I just have this horrible anxiety about school.

I hope this goes well...

Wishing you the best of luck tomorrow! I know how hard it is to get thru school with bipolar, it took me 11 years to get my BA, but I finally succeeded. And believe me, graduation is worth the hassle! Hang in there this semester!

keep us posted, I'm in my 11th year for an AA. If you have a good support team you should be fine. Your lucky enough to get dx'd earlier in your school career to put together the best support system to get you through school.

So my quarter is almost over and except for one very depressive hiccup it went okay. School is hard, but learning from past mistakes is sometimes harder.

It took me 6-7 years for a BA because I kept dropping out, changing my major, moving around the planet. And my transcript? More bipolar than me! Lot of Fs and A+s.

At least one semester I was to have it wiped due to "mental illness", or my doctor told me to when I told him I failed all my courses but, match depression with a university administration office and it wasn't worth the hassle.

This is basically my transcripts too. I have changed my major three times (photography to web design and now I'm in graphic design). Though I'm happy with my last major change, I missed two weeks of class because I couldn't get out of bed, for anything. I had some medication changes and I am feeling much better, I'm playing catch up this final week to at least pass my classes. I never realized how hard dealing with this mental illness and school would be, but I'm working through it. Professors understand, I guess being that it's art school. Most creative people have some sort of crazy .

I'll let y'all know how the quarter ends.
