From everything I have read, I have gathered that it is actually ok to reinvent ourselves. So, that is really ok then? To decide consciously who we want to be and to mold ourselves into that? I have never considered that either. Is it really ok.. or is it fake?

It would be irresponsible not too do it! What I mean is if, your old ways are not working for you anymore, then it's your duty to yourself to find new ways of being. It's wouldn't be fake, it would be wise.

And slow and steady wins the race, sometimes those old sayings are annoying, but some hold a lot of truth. I think you can do this!
Thanks for this!

I didn't know not molding yourself into who you to be was an option. Yes it feels fake at first but eventually it feels natural. It's kind of like how learning to drive feels un-natural or parenting everything we have to learn feels un-natural.

It's such a hopeful idea, isn't it? You can look at it so many different ways. It makes it feel like the whole world is yours.

Yes it's ok to do, this is your life, your body. Reinvent is growth, personal, emotional, mental, spiritual. You may fall down sometimes, I often do, but we're standing now - or laying down lol, but we're still here.

Success is getting up one more time than you've fallen down.

We are fluid beings, always possible to change, grow, evolve. This is not fake at all, this is the path of life. Just gotta trust, believe in yourself. Even if you feel like it failed before, try it again, or try it a different way.

You've been a good friend to me many times, offering help and inspiration. I think you would tell me to believe in myself.

You can offer this friendship to yourself, help balance the negative self talk and catastrophic thinking we torture ourselves with. And sometimes you might find that the negative self talk was just trying to make you change and be happy or more effiecient or whatever, because it is you as well, it just has an asshole harsh way of going about it. (mine does at least)

Hugs Dan you can do this! I believe in you. Takes time, we are works in progress.
Thanks for this!
