This seems random but i think there is something to it.
My drive to work is almost an hour each way. I pass an electric plant / powerhouse. Lots of those tall metal electric poles. So many times I have crying spells around this area, it's been going on about 10 years. what's up with that? i've heard of people getting headaches from electro magnetic fields.

Sounds doubtful.

Perhaps it has to do with work? You're having these crying spells on the way to or from work. Many people hate work or at least find it stressful so, there is that.

Or you could just be like me and automatically jump to thinking about climbing that fence and having a zap every time you go by a place like that, I do. But, ever bridge and high building will do that, larger knives, bottles of pills, ropes, whatever. Even in a good mood the thought crops up for me, of course after thinking such things so often it doesn't bother me but, apparently a fleeting suicidal thought is disturbing enough to make some people cry?

I go past a place like that daily too. Have been since I was a little girl. Nothing like that has happened to me, that is of course if you discount the fact that I wonder what I'd look like burnt to a crisp... Doesn't phase me tho, I've always had a morbid curiosity, it amuses me... sss that must suck on an epic scale.

I spelled electricity wrong lol. and thank you for replying.

so i've been thinking that my crying spells or the thoughts leading up to them are happening when i get in a range of the place. i'll cry for different reasons, memories, regrets, current affairs, hawk flying in the sky.

never thought about going in there, lol. never want to. get me home to my trees.

but could be it's just the halfway point between work and home and a private place for me to have a crying spell.

some people are hypersensitive to energies and stuff.

Try how a pendulum (could be a necklace chain with a charm or something like that) reacts to the place compared to others.

I am very sensitive to energies, yes. what stones do you think i should use in pendulums? i will make some, i have a lot of nice amethyst. or i could try a random necklace.

Electromagnetic fields can be very powerful and affect our bodies and minds in ways we wouldn't expect. Our bodies are 70% water and water conducts electricity. They can make us feel nauseous, paranoid, and generally "creeped out". If you find yourself crying at that same spot and not at other times, it may be possible that the EM fields are affecting you.

I actually grew up less than a block from power poles just like that, (and my mom grew up there, too.) Anyway, a lot of people in my family always wonder if that's why my mom got cancer, but my 3 aunts and uncle also grew up there and no cancer for them. But my grandma had lieukemia and my grandpa bone cancer... so genetics also... maybe not just power poles.

But, electromagnetic fields do cause strange things to people. It can even make you feel like you're being watched, or someone is behind you, hair stand up on your arms, give you headaches, and make you feel sick. This may sound dumb... haha... but they actually use it as an explanation of why "you're house is not haunted, you have a lot of electromagnetic issues in your house. Call an electrician not a priest."

But remember, our nervous systems are electrical systems. We're basically biochemical robots. So it is possible that it is effecting you in some way.

But... also on that same note, when I'm alone in the car I tend to just start going over everything in my head and overwhelm myself. That's kind of when I let out a lot of tears and stress. But I know that can also be dangerous. But when in crisis I do this a lot! And, I once read a thing about grief that says when you can drive alone from point a to point b without crying, then you know you're healed of your issue. I found this is true.

yes, thanks, this is what i'm getting at, thanks for putting such a good description to it dragonfly. like venus also said, i am maybe more sensitive to it. i'm fine with that just like to understand it. i find this sort of thing really interesting.

what do you think about all the iron/metals (lithium lol) in our blood and bodies? do you think that is like the water and conducting electricity too somewhat? i don't think of iron as a good conducter, but it can get magnetized right?

Aside from iron, the body is typically free of metals and the iron that is in our bodies is not in pure form. It is primarily contained in complexes the body can use in the form of hemoglobin (active iron in red blood cells) and ferritin (storage form) and bound to other cellular proteins. Only in cases of iron overload do we get any precipitating iron and even that remains in the red blood cells. Even if the iron was not bound into other complexes, the small amount present in the human body would not result in magnetization. It is more the electrical components of our bodies, in the form of ions and electrolyte compounds, in addition to the water and general electrical charges of things like our cardiac and neurological systems that respond to the electricity around us.

this is so interesting, thanks. i figured we have iron in our blood more because blood smells so metallic to me.

i'm also really emotionally sensitve to the weather, and someone once suggested it's because of the changes in the ions in the atmosphere going from positive to negative like before a rain. you can even smell it right before a rain comes in.
Thanks for this!

Maybe you can get a cheap used Q-Link pendant or something similar?

Hmm.. had not heard of it. Just read some on internet, but still can't figure out what it is, like a secret technology tuning fork that interferes and stops any damaging signals and noise coming in.

tell me more?
