I don't really care tho, I think the counter thingy is silly, but I am not gonna let that stop me from giving someone a hug, I obviously can't help myself from hugging anyways. And some people don't hug, but I don't think it says anything about them either. Maybe the hug counter lets people who don't like hugs stay away from the huggers

Never can hug too much Blue or BipolaRnurse, But sometimes I wonder if the person will be like..eww gross don't hug me, or creeped out , I know some people don't like hugs. I like virtual hugs, but in real life I don't so much like hugs from people I don't know really well.

My bf's friends are all huggers, you should see how still and awkward I get. I wish I was more ok with the hugs.

Idk, some times hugs are ok I think-- Some times it is due to, well like the other day there was a poster and they seemed rather angry, and yeah I could had taken quiet offense to what they wrote back, but a second of a stop on my part to realize -- this person is probably struggling.. The hug is not make them more mad (though I can see how that would be for some) but to be like, sorry your taking this so harshly hope you the best... other times it is due to I do have sympathy for people, struggles are struggles and even with success there was struggle to get that success....

I am with Anika though; in real life-- hugging.. it is hard to do with others-- At one point I could do it with friends (but i was heavily drugged on my own with all that) now days, ugh.. almost like reverting back... My S/O though-- he can hug me as long as I am not grumpy or mad

I don't really like the counter though but I remember when the hug button came about

I guess some really don't like it... I don't see things as a race-- and to be honest there is not a thank you count .... so why a hug count? but whatever.. I am glad there is a hug button... some times it does help others (and at times I am one of those that it is nice to see a hug even if not many reply-- at least someone read it, and some care a little, ya know?)

I don't mind the hug button in fact I forget it is there, I was never hugged as a child so I always give them now

There must be a bug - I gave you a hug on another thread and it does not show. With your number of posts, it is hard to believe that you would not get many hugs. So something is wrong. I would have filed a bug but since you see no value in hugs counting, I am not going to bother .
