What would you do if you had extra money?

I would put away money for my children to go to college. They are getting close to that age, and all of my good intentions to save over the years have failed.
Otherwise: weekly cleaning help, interior decorator, a real family vacation, a restaurant meal for the entire family, vacation homes at the beach and the mountains

Yes, the thread was conceived to be about fun.

If I had the money, I would also hire a cleaning service but I would also want a cook! And someone to do the yard, too. All of that domestic stuff is a struggle for me.

Now if I really had the money, like win the lottery, I have a long list. I would buy us our own house. (Not a mansion or anything, just our own house.) And a house for my mother-in-law. And I would put away money for the boys to go to college. I would pay off all my debt. And I would try to be creative or go to school to get a creative job or something.

But then, I would also give back. I have this dream because when my middle son was a baby we had 0 money. I had just finished school and I was looking for a job, our phone was going to get shut off, and we were on food stamps. And I had no money for diapers. And I went to all the homeless shelters and food banks and no on had diapers. I sat on the curb with my baby and I cried. A month later I got my first job thanks to my schooling. So one of my big dreams is that 1) I would start a charity where diapers are donated to food banks and shelters. 2) I would start a charity that helps moms and dads who are in that situation with things like a phone so they can get call backs for job interviews.

So, those are my big dreams.
