Has anyone ever tried to meet anyone on a singles website for BP or Depression? I'm not sure if they exist but if so I would think one would feel more comfortable meeting someone in that type of 'environment'.

Have you noticed there are more women than men on those sites? I would think so but not sure.

Any recommendations in the USA?

Thanks

Oh, you've asked a tough question, in my view, Live By The Sea.

I'd be very cautious about wanting to meet a bipolar person on the internet if you are asking about dating, etc. You don't know whether the person you will be talking to is medicated or psychotic or in full control of himself.

If it's just casual conversation, that's a different story, again, in my view. We're all bipolar here so we do understand where people are coming from when they have a difficult day. From that viewpoint, maybe it would be interesting to talk to another single person who is bipolar.

Otherwise, I would say use caution, just as you would in meeting anyone. We are
a bit vulnerable just because the illness makes us much more sensitive than most people. (And that can be good or bad, depending on how the gift is used.)

IMHO.
