No use crying over it... I look how I look. Good or bad, love it or hate, it aint gonna change. No use crying, and making others feel bad about it too. No use. Sorry guys, ignore my previous thread. I'll handle it, maybe not the way nature intended, or what others would deem healthy, but my idea of handle has always mostly been unorthodox. Just spilt milk. Pay it no mind, its not fixable.

(((Trippin)))

I want you to handle it however you want to, however serves you best to be happy with yourself. I most likely will make the commonly disapproved of path too, so I really hope I didn't make you feel bad. And the other advice I gave you wasn't an instead of operation option, more of an until then. You know what is best for you!

I was only speaking to the confusion within myself on that front, which would exist less if people were not so harsh about it.

Your thread was important. I'm glad you got it out; now maybe it won't bother you so much. When I was your age, I worried about it, too, and a lot of other things that never turned out to be unsurmountable.

My weight loss was caused by depression. Gradually, when I no longer had anxiety, I began to eat well again. Try to get that depression up and out if that's what's happening.

How about trying an anti-anxiety med for a while--like Xanax? I know you've given up meds, but you could see your general practitioner and ask for one just for a few weeks to see if that helps to bring your weight back to the desirable size you wish.

Anything's possible--you know that.

I'll be thinking about you. When the scales go up, let us know, please.

Nobody made me feel bad... Its not right posting when I know the advice offered wont help. Its selfish. Gen, I weigh more when I'm depressed. When I hardly eat... Gp said my body thought it was starving and started storing... I thought eating smaller portions would then help. It did. But now I inexplainably just lost it again, and picking up even just 1 whole kilo took months. Love you too peg. Just dont want my friends paying attention to me when someone else may need it more...

Well there just isn't a lot of other (any) new posts in the bipolar forum, Sorry You deserve as much attention as anyone else. Maybe you just needed to vent a bit, but it's plenty welcome, and not selfish. maybe your thread would help someone else.

I think its easier to pick at body imperfections. I do it all the time, especially since I'm bigger than most of my friends. (They are all 110-120 twigs)

It has helped me to look at myself and think of my body positively. I don't feel terrible being at my weight anymore and know that as I gain more courage I will be able to stick to fitness/diet plans.

Try to eat some healthy but fatty foods. Things like nuts (if you aren't allergic to it) can help. Also eating more meat than you actually need. (Anything deep fried but that isn't healthy...)

Mmmmm, fish and chips! French fries and fried chicken and and falafel and donuts! Oh my!
I almost always get something of that "food group" when eating out, but don't do it at home. Not for health, but because I don't want the after-scent in the apartment(!) Lol.

And sheesh. No worries on the other thread. It gave me a chance to vent too!

I don't find it selfish to post things that others can't help. It's not selfish to get the things out that are hurting and upsetting you. It's not about us when you are in need, it's about doing what you need to on here to get it out and feel better in the long run. You never know who might relate and be able to sit by you for a while and just understand. lol.

there is always room on these boards, as far as I'm concerned, for your posts. Your not taking away from anyone else, please don't feel that you are. I have never looked at a post and said to myself, "wow, they don't need help that bad. they are taking away from those that need it more." It looks totally ridiculous typed out and it is ridiculous. there is room for everyone on here. Please don't hesitate to post for this reason, it defeats the purpose of what these boards are here for in the first place.

I hope you feel better about yourself soon.

if we weren't to rant about unfixable things, this forum would have like 10% of the current posts. So rant away.
