I've always had a ringing in left ear and I was born deaf in right ear. Lately I noticed my "good" ear is ringing in many different pitches. I've always had one pitch that I've lived with but now it's very loud and sometimes I get this buzz and I feel like for a brief moment I can't hear anything but that buzz. Seeing pdoc on Monday and got to discuss this badly!!! I only have 60% hearing in left ear. Feel I gotta save what's left. Anyone else have ringing in ears from meds

Hmm wonder if hypo because you clench. I'm a dental assistant and clenching teeth causes ringing.
Thanks for this!

I have ringing in both ears... tinnitus I think itīs called. Started to feel it badly after I started on meds in 2005 and it has been there ever since. Notice it more when Iīm anxious and irretated...or when there is just no other noice around me.
Sometimes I donīt notice it, but thatīs only for a short while...
it really bothers me.
Hope your talk with doc will help!
Take care

I have ringing in my ears. I have always had it to some degree and yes, I am BAD to clinch or grind my teeth but it has seemed more frequent since I been on meds altho it may just be I am more aware of it as I am looking for signs of change since it has been so many yrs since I have been medicated.

I get ringing in both ear. I notice it most when things are "quiet." But, about twelve years ago I was a custodian and had to use this big canaster vaccuume you carry on your back. We weren't allowed to use headphones or ear covers or whatever they are because if there was an alarm we wouldn't be able to hear it. I only did that for about 6 months, but, I definately have hearing loss. I even use the subtitles on t.v. sometimes.

Have you been to the doctor about it since it started getting worse?

I have ringing but it's inside my head, not in my ears. Sometimes it's very loud (like right now) sometimes it's quieter and sometimes it's not there at all. I have Bipolar 1 and I know it's just one more symptom related to it.
