Clint has the first ECT done this morning seemed to do okay with it some confusion at first no memory loss as of yet. Said it was a piece of cake. Has said he will stay in the hospital until probably next Friday he wants to make sure he is better before he gets out. Mood today somewhat better says he is in the between mood a little down but not as bad as he was. Will have another one i think monday morning. Me and his father was both there with him and saw him when he went into the recovery room was a little wobbly but not to bad he tells everyone hello and wishes you all well. Thank you and continue to send your positive thoughts his way to you all!!!! I am sorry if i don't reply to all of your messages but i hope this will work if not please let me know....

Good news. I've never had ECT so I have no advice. But heard positive things from others who have. Glad he's feeling better. Hope it all turns around for him now.

Oh well thats good news, seems to be going well. I am glad he is starting to feel a little better. I hope the treatment continues to work for him! Thanks for the update mom. Will continue to keep Clint and your family in my thoughts. Sending him lots of positive energy, and I am glad he is taking it slow.

Glad to hear he's doing well. For the record, I've had ECT treatment twice...but it's sometimes hard to see the forest for the trees where recovery from depression is concerned. In my experience, however, there was absolutely no memory loss (at least that I remember). I hope Clint continues having positive results. Hang in there! Where depression is concerned, we all have to remember that there's a light at the end of the tunnel!

Right one step at a time and letting him do what he feels he needs to do to get it straightened out a little for him. We know that it is not a cure but if he can get some relief from the depression and the bad thoughts it will be worth it!

ECT has been amazing for me. I have been having treatments since June and it brought me out of the worst depression of my life. No, it's not a cure, but like you said it gives relief. I went on every three week maintenance, and now that I am having some trouble again, they are putting me on every two week treatments for a while. I like that they can adjust it according to my needs. I have had some memory loss, but it really isn't bad.

Tell Clint that I am thinking of him and that I hope he feels relief soon.

Thank you i will tell him. He is having the second one this morning. Got a little disappointed on the first one as i think he thought that he would immediately feel great, of course that wasn't to be he has had a couple of breakdowns but i went to see him yesterday and he was very happy to see us and seemed upbeat. last nite he called and was having a rough time. Hoping this will help him and if you could tell me your experiences from it i would great;y appreciate it!
